I used the Stampin’ Up! Fond of Autumn stamp set and the Gnomes Dies to create a fun fall card to share with you today. I did a video tutorial for this card (and I switched it to a shaker card!) on Facebook Live yesterday and you can see it here. You can also see the video on YouTube here.
I’m off to Atlanta today to meet up with Mary Deatherage and we’re traveling to a the Stampin’ Up! leadership even in New Orleans this weekend! Yay!! This is the first in-person event since 2019 and I can’t wait!! It may take me a little longer to respond to emails while I’m away so please be patient with me!
My card works for the Tic Tac Toe Challenge TTTC175. I went right across the middle.
I started by adhering a panel of Gingham Cottage DSP to the front of a Pumpkin Pie card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Then I embossed a panel of Basic White card stock with the Timber 3D Embossing Folder. I adhered strips of Mossy Meadow DSP from the Neutrals 6″ x 6″ DSP pack to the top and bottom of the embossed panel with Stampin’ Seal. Then I adhered the layered panel to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.
I cut panels of Soft Suede, Basic White and Sahara Sand card stocks with the Gnomes Dies and then cut panels of Gingham Cottage DSP and Neutrals DSP with the Gnomes Dies. I adhered the die cut hats, beards and feet together with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and then to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the noses with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the gnomes. I stamped the acorn and leaf images from the Cottage Wreaths photopolymer stamp set in Soft Suede, Pumpkin Pie, So Saffron and Mossy Meadow inks on a panel of Basic White card stock.
I cut the stamped images out with the coordinating Country Wreaths Dies and adhered them to the card front with Mini Glue Dots. I stamped the sentiment from the Fond Of Autumn stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of So Saffron card stock, sprinkled it with copper embossing powder from the Metallics Embossing Powders and heat embossed it. I cut the sentiment out with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies and then adhered it with Mini Glue Dots. I added two copper dots from the Brushed Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots to finish the card front.
I adhered a strip of Gingham Cottage DSP to a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
