Stampin’ Up! Christmas Scottie CAS Christmas Card

I used the cute Christmas Scottie stamp set bundle from Stampin’ Up! to create a fun Christmas card to share with you today.

Stampin' Up! Christmas Scottie CAS Christmas Card

My card design was inspired by Hand Stamped Sentiments Sketch Challenge #398…but I had to flip it to make it work for my card.

I started by cutting a panel of Cottage Gingham DSP with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies.  I adhered the die cut to a panel of Basic White card stock with Stampin’ Seal and then to the front of the Basic Black card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I cut another panel of Gingham Cottage DSP with another of the Stitched Rectangle Dies and I adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.

I cut a panel of Basic White card stock with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies and then adhered the die cut with Stampin’ Seal to the card front.  I stamped the dog image from the Christmas Scottie photopolymer stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink with the Stamparatus on Basic White card stock.  I reinked and restamped the image to get solid coverage and then used the Scottie Dog Punch to punch the image out.  I adhered the image with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.  Then I stamped the plaid image from the Christmas Scottie stamp set in Real Red ink on Real Red card stock, punched it out with the Scottie Dog Punch and adhered the bow to the card front with a Mini Glue Dot.

I stamped the sentiment from the Christmas Scottie stamp set in VersaMark ink on Basic Black card stock, sprinkled it with white embossing powder from the Basics Embossing Powders and then heat embossed it.  I cut around the sentiment with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies and then adhered the die cut with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.  I added one of the Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Christmas Scottie stamp set in Real Red ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then added a strip of the Cottage Gingham DSP to finish the inside of the card.
