Stampin’ Up! Gathered Wheat Grateful Card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

I used the Stampin’ Up! Gathered Wheat stamp set bundle to create my project for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a theme challenge this week and this is what I made for it.

Stampin' Up! Gathered Wheat Grateful Card

Here is the theme that we’re using this week:

My card design was inspired by the Fusion Sketch this week.

I started by stamping the sentiment from the Gathered Wheat stamp set in So Saffron ink down a panel of Happy Forest Friends DSP.  I adhered the stamped panel to the front of a So Saffron card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I adhered a smaller panel of Sahara Sand DSP from the Neutrals 6″ x 6″ DSP to the top of the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I added a strip of gold paper from the Gold & Rose Gold 6″ x 6″ Metallic Specialty Paper with Multipurpose Liquid Glue over the seam between the two papers.

I stamped the sentiment from the Gathered Wheat stamp set in VersaMark Ink on a panel of Sahara Sand card stock, sprinkled it with gold embossing powder from the Metallics Embossing Powder and then heat embossed it.  I cut the sentiment out with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies and then adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the wheat image from the Gathered Wheat stamp set in VersaMark Ink on a panel of Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper, sprinkled it with gold embossing powder and then heat embossed it.  I colored the wheat image with So Saffron and Mango Melody Stampin’ Write Markers and then cut the image out with the coordinating Wheat Dies.  I adhered the die cut with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front and then added Rustic Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots to finish the card front.

I stamped the wheat image from the Gathered Wheat stamp set in So Saffron ink on a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
