I used the Stampin’ Up! Brightest Glow stamp set bundle to create my project for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. We’ve got a color challenge this week and this is what I made for it.
Here are the colors that we’re using this week:
My card design was inspired by the Fusion Sketch Challenge this week:
I started by adhering a panel of Boughs Of Holly DSP to a panel of Cherry Cobbler card stock with Stampin’ Seal. Then I adhered the layered panel to the front of a Cherry Cobbler card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered a panel of Lights Aglow 6″ x 6″ Specialty DSP to a panel of Cherry Cobbler card stock and then to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.
I cut a panel of Boughs Of Holly DSP with my Stampin’ Trimmer to create a banner and then adhered the banner to the card front with Stampin’ Seal. I adhered a small length of Gold & Vanilla 3/8″ Satin Edge Ribbon to the banner in a “z” with Stampin’ Seal.
I stamped the sentiment from the Brightest Glow stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Mossy Meadow card stock, sprinkled it with gold embossing powder from the Metallics Embossing Powders and then heat embossed it. I cut the sentiment out with the coordinating die from the Labels Aglow Dies and adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front. I added three of the Gold Adhesive-Backed Swirls (available Nov 1) to finish the card front.
I stamped the sentiment from the Brightest Glow stamp set in Cherry Cobbler ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then added a strip of Boughs Of Holly DSP to finish the inside of the card.
