Stampin’ Up! Window Wishes Christmas Card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

I used the Stampin’ Up! Window Wishes stamp set bundle to create my project for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a color challenge this week and this is what I made for it.

Here are the colors that were using this week:

I started by stamping the snowflake image from the Window Wishes photopolymer stamp set in Pool Party ink on a panel of Basic White card stock.  I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Pool Party card stock with Stampin’ Seal and then to the front of the Garden Green card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I cut three panels of Basic White card stock with the small horizon dies (cut one side first and then the other on a second pass) and then embossed them with the Cascading Ruffles 3D Embossing Folder (on sale for 20% off through Nov 18).  I adhered the three embossed panels with Stampin’ Seal to the card front and then stamped the houses and trees from the Window Wishes stamp set in Pool Party, Real Red, Sweet Sorbet and Garden Green inks on Basic White card stock.  I cut the stamped images with the coordinating Window Dies and then tucked them under the “snow” die cuts and adhered them with Mini Glue Dots.

I cut the roof images with one of the Window Dies from Brushed Metallic Cardstock and then adhered the die cuts with Mini Glue Dots over the houses.  I stamped the sentiment from the Window Wishes stamp set in Sweet Sorbet ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then cut it out with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies (on sale through Nov 18).  I adhered the die cut sentiment to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then added three Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels to finish the card front.

I stamped the images and sentiment from the Window Wishes stamp set in Garden Green, Pool Party, Sweet Sorbet and Sahara Sand inks on a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
