I used the cute Friendly Gnomes stamp set from the upcoming Stampin’ Up! January-April 2023 Mini Catalog to create a valentine card to share with you today. I also did a video tutorial for this card and you can see it on YouTube here.
I started by adhering a panel of Dandy Designs DSP ($100 level Sale-a-bration item available Jan 5) to the front of a Thick Basic White card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Then I adhered another panel of Dandy Designs DSP over the card front with Stampin’ Seal.
I stamped the mushroom and grass images from the Friendly Gnomes photopolymer stamp set (available Jan 5) in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Basic White card stock. I colored the images with Light and Dark Petal Pink, Fresh Freesia, Balmy Blue and Mint Macaron Stampin’ Blends Markers and then adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Petal Pink card stock and then to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.
I stamped the two gnome images from the Friendly Gnomes stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and colored them with Light and Dark Petal Pink, Fresh Freesia, Balmy Blue, Gray Granite and Mint Macaron Stampin’ Blends Markers and the Medium Light Combo Pack Markers. I colored over the hats, beard and hair images with the Color Lifter. Then I cut the images out with the coordinating Gnomes Dies and adhered them with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.
I stamped the sentiment from the Friendly Gnomes stamp set in Fresh Freesia ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then cut it out with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies. I adhered the die cut sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals and Stampin’ Seal to the card front and then added three Opaque Adhesive-Backed Gems (available Jan 5) to finish the card front.
I adhered a strip of Dandy Designs DSP to a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
