I used the Stampin’ Up! Lighting The Way stamp set bundle from the upcoming January-April 2023 Mini Catalog to create my card to share with you today. I also did a video tutorial for this card and you can see it on YouTube here.
I started by adhering a panel of Fancy Flora 6″ x 6″ DSP (available Jan 5) to the front of a Mint Macaron card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Then I stamped the larger circle image from the Lighting The Way photopolymer stamp set (available Jan 5) in Daffodil Delight ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then used one of the Small Blending Brushes (available Jan 5) to apply Daffodil Delight ink around the circle stamp. I added Soft Succulent ink with a Blending Brush to the bottom of the Basic White panel.
I cut a panel of Copper Foil Sheets with one of the Lighting The Way Dies (available Jan 5) and then adhered it to the Basic White panel with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Then I stamped the small circle dot image from the Lighting The Way stamp set in Daffodil Delight ink three times on the Basic White panel. I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Soft Succulent card stock with Stampin’ Seal and then to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped the medium firefly image three times in Basic Gray and Daffodil Delight inks on a panel of Basic White card stock and then cut the images out with the coordinating Lighting The Way Dies. I stamped the greenery images from the Lighting the Way stamp set in Mint Macaron ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then cut the images out with the coordinating Lighting The Way Dies. I adhered the die cut images with Mini Glue Dots to the card front.
I adhered a small length of Balmy Blue & White 1/2″ Variegated Ribbon in a “v” with Stampin’ Seal to the card front. Then I stamped the sentiment from the Lighting The Way stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Balmy Blue card stock, sprinkled it with copper embossing powder from the Metallics Embossing Powders and heat embossed it. I cut the sentiment out with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies and adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals to finish the card front.
I adhered a strip of Fancy Flora DSP to the bottom of a panel of Basic White card stock and then stamped the firefly images from the Lighting The Way stamp set in Basic Gray and Daffodil Delight inks to finish the inside of the card.
