I used the Fragrant Flowers stamp set bundle and Country Lane DSP to create my project for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. We’ve got a color challenge this week and this is what I made for it.
Here are the colors that we’re using this week:
I started by adhering strips of Country Gingham 6″ x 6″ DSP to the top and bottom of a Balmy Blue card base with Stampin’ Seal. Then I adhered a wide panel of Country Floral Lane DSP to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.
I cut another panel of Country Floral Lane DSP with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies and I adhered it with Stampin’ Seal to the card front. I adhered a small length of ribbon from the Real Read & Burlap Ribbon Combo Pack to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.
I stamped the sentiment from the Fragrant Flowers stamp set (available in cling and photopolymer) in VersaMark ink on a panel of Sweet Sorbet card stock, sprinkled it with white embossing powder from the Basics Embossing Powders and then heat embossed it. I cut the sentiment out with the coordinating Fragrant Flowers Dies and adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front. I added two Pastel Adhesive-Backed Sequins to finish the card front.
I adhered a strip of Country Gingham DSP to a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
You can see a list of supplies used to create this project, including the card stock cuts, at the very bottom of this blog post.
