Stampin’ Up! Friends Are Like Seashells CAS Birthday Card

I used the Stampin’ Up! Friends Are Like Seashells stamp set and a little of the By The Bay DSP to create a quick birthday card to share with you today.  I made this project out on Instagram this morning and you can see it here.

Stampin' Up! Friends Are Like Seashells CAS Birthday Card

My card design was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches 578.

I started by embossing a panel of Basic White card stock with the Timber 3D Embossing Folder.  I used one of the Blending Brushes to add Sahara Sand ink to the panel, focusing on the edges.  I adhered the embossed panel to the front of a Thick Basic White card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I cut a panel of By The Bay 6″ x 6″ DSP with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies.  I cut the panel in half and then adhered the pieces to the far right and far left sides of the card front with Stampin’ Seal.

I adhered a panel of Balmy Blue card stock to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.  Then I cut another panel of By The Bay DSP with another one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies and then I adhered the die cut panel to a panel of Night Of Navy card stock with Stampin’ Seal.  I adhered the layered panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Friends Are Like Seashells photopolymer stamp set in Night Of Navy ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then cut around it with one of the All That Dies.  I adhered the die cut sentiment with Stampin’ Seal to the card front.  Then I cut a panel of By The Bay DSP with one of the small seashell dies from Seaside Bay Dies.  I adhered the die cut shell with Mini Glue Dots and then added one of the Flat Adhesive-Backed Pearls to finish the card front.
