Welcome back to another Inkin’ Krew blog hop! Our very talented team is doing a blog hop featuring Stampin’ Up! products. This month we are all creating projects with a “for the ladies or girls” theme and I’m featuring the Lazy Days stamp set bundle from the upcoming 2023-2024 Annual Catalog for my card.
My card design was inspired by My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge #640.
I started by applying Pool Party ink to the front of a Thick Basic White card base with one of the Blending Brushes. Then I cut a panel of Basic White card stock with the trellis and railing dies from the Lazy Days Dies (available May 2). I snipped off one edge of the trellis die cut and then adhered the die cuts to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I inked the wooden plank image from the Lazy Days photopolymer stamp set in Pebbled Path ink (available May 2), stamped it on scrap paper and then stamped it on the card front.
I stamped the table, rocking chair and plant images from the Lazy Days stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then colored the images with Light and Dark Crumb Cake, Lemon Lolly (available May 2), Pool Party, Copper Clay (available May 2) and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends Markers. I cut the images out with the coordinating Lazy Days Dies (available May 2) and then adhered the table and plant with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and the chair with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.
I stamped the sentiment from the Lazy Days stamp set in Pebbled Path ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then cut around it with one of the Something Fancy Dies. I adhered the die cut sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front and then colored a Rhinestone Basic Jewel with a Dark Lemon Lolly Stampin’ Blends Marker before adhering it to the card front to finish it.
I stamped the sentiment from the Lazy Days stamp set in Pebbled Path ink on a panel of Basic White card stock. Then I stamped the basket image from the Lazy Days stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink and colored it with Light and Dark Crumb Cake and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends Markers to finish the inside of the card.
