I used the Zany Zoo stamp set bundle from the upcoming 2023-2024 Annual Catalog to create my project for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a theme challenge this week and this is what I made for it.

Here is the theme that we’re using this week:

The design for my card was inspired by TGIF Challenges TGIFC416.

I started by adhering a panel of Zoo Crew DSP (available May 2) to the front of a Basic Black card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I cut a panel of Zoo Crew DSP into five strips that measure 1″ x 3-5/8″.  I adhered the DSP strips to a panel of Basic Black card stock with Stampin’ Seal.  I adhered the layered DSP panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Then I stamped the sentiment from the Zany Zoo stamp set (available May 2) in VersaMark Ink on a panel of Lemon Lime Twist card stock (available May 2), sprinkled it with black embossing powder from the Basics Embossing Powders and then heat embossed it.  I cut the sentiment out with one of the Radiating Stitches Dies (Online Exclusive item, restocking in May) and then adhered it with Stampin’ Seal to a circle cut from Basic Black card stock with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies.

I adhered the layered sentiment to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then added three Rustic Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Zany Zoo stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then added a strip of Zoo Crew DSP.  I cut a panel of Zoo Crew DSP with one of the coordinating Zany Zoo Dies and then adhered it with Stampin’ Seal to finish the inside of the card.
