Stampin’ Up! Horse & Sleigh Christmas Card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

I used the Stampin’ Up! Horse & Sleigh stamp set bundle from the Online Exclusives (available today!!) to create my project for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a sketch challenge this week and this is what I made for it.

Stampin' Up! Horse & Sleigh Christmas Card

Here is the sketch that we’re using this week:

I started by adhering a panel of the One Horse Open Sleigh 6″ x 6″ DSP (Online Exclusive item) to the front of an Early Espresso card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I cut another panel of One Horse Open Sleigh DSP with one of the Deckled Rectangles Dies and adhered it to a panel of Real Red card stock with Stampin’ Seal.

I adhered the layered panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then stamped the sentiment from the Horse & Sleigh photopolymer stamp set (Online Exclusive item) in VersaMark ink on a panel of Lost Lagoon card stock.  I sprinkled the sentiment with white embossing powder from the Basics Embossing Powders and then heat embossed it.

I cut the sentiment out with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies and then adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.  I added three Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Horse & Sleigh stamp set in Lost Lagoon ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then added a strip of the One Horse Open Sleigh DSP to finish the inside of the card.
