Welcome back to another Inkin’ Krew blog hop! Our very talented team is doing a blog hop featuring Stampin’ Up! products. This month we are all creating projects with a “fun fold” theme and I’m featuring the Trucking Along stamp set bundle from the Online Exclusives for my card.
I started by adhering a panel of Blueberry Bushel DSP from the Glorious Gingham DSP pack to the front of a Blueberry Bushel card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Then I used the largest circle die from the Stylish Shapes Dies to cut a circle from the card front.
I stamped the sentiment from the Very Best Occasions stamp set in Blueberry Bushel ink and the truck images from the Trucking Along photopolymer stamp set (restocking in mid-July) in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and Real Red ink on a panel of Basic White card stock. I colored the truck tires, windows and bumpers with Light and Dark Gray Granite, Smoky Slate, Real Red and Pool Party Stampin’ Blends Markers. I scored a panel of Blueberry Bushel DSP at 1/2″ and then adhered it to the right side of a panel of Basic White card stock and then adhered the Basic White panel to the inside of the card with Stampin Seal.
I stamped the truck images from the Trucking Along stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink and Real Red ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then colored the truck tires, windows and bumpers with Light and Dark Gray Granite, Smoky Slate, Real Red and Pool Party Stampin’ Blends Markers. I punched the truck image out with the coordinating Trucking Along Builder Punch (Online Exclusive item) and then placed it on a panel of Basic White card stock. I stamped the palm tree, ground and cloud images around the truck in Tuxedo Black Memento ink, Granny Apple Green, Gray Granite (stamped off once for the ground) and Pool Party (stamped off once for the fill-in clouds) inks and then cut around the stamped images with the largest Stylish Shapes Circle Die.
I closed the card and then adhered the die cut circle to the inner panel with Stampin’ Seal so that it fit inside the opening from the card front. Then I adhered the punched truck image to the die cut circle with Stampin’ Seal. I stamped the sentiments from the Trucking Along and Very Best Occasions stamp sets in Real Red ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then cut around them with dies from the Wonderful Thoughts and All That Dies. I adhered the sentiment to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the sentiment to the inner layer with Stampin’ Seal and then added two Rustic Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots to finish the card.
