Stampin’ Up! Wanted To Say Birthday Card for Sunday Stamps

I used the Stampin’ Up! Wanted to Say Dies to create a quick birthday card for the Sunday Stamps sketch challenge this week.

Stampin' Up! Wanted To Say Birthday Card

Here is the sketch for Sunday Stamps SSC314.  Be sure to stop by the challenge blog to play along too!

I started by adhering a panel of Fresh As A Daisy DSP to the front of a Moody Mauve card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I cut another panel of Fresh As A Daisy DSP with one of the Radiating Stitches Dies.  I adhered the die cut to a panel of White Vellum and then to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.

I adhered pieces of Adhesive Sheets to the back of a panel of Moody Mauve card stock and then cut the panel with one of the Wanted To Say Dies.  I cut a panel of Basic White card stock with the layering die from the Wanted To Say Dies and then adhered the two die cuts together with the Adhesive Sheets.

I adhered the layered sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front and the added three Moody Mauve dots from the 2023-2025 In Color Dots to the card front to finish it.

I stamped the sentiment from the Pansy Patch photopolymer stamp set in Moody Mauve ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then adhered a strip of Fresh As A Daisy DSP to finish the inside of the card.

  1. Yay, you remembered the adhesive sheets! It’s a lovely card. Moody Mauve is not my favorite of the In Colors, but you know which one is…lol! Have a blessed day.

  2. That Fresh As A Daisy paper is fantastic!! I love the added layer of vellum…nice touch!! Great inspiration for those who decide to play along with our new “Be Bold” sketch/sentiment challenge over at Sunday Stamps!! You rocked the large sentiment element with that layered sentiment die!! #SSC314

  3. This is so perfect – I am LOVING these dies, and how glorious on the daisy paper – I’m struggling a little with it and you make it look so easy, lol. Love this!

  4. Fun main sentiment, and I always love how vellum softens the background and draws the to the main image.
