I used the Stampin’ Up! Gorgeously Made stamp set bundle to create a thank you card to share with you today.  I also did a video tutorial for this card and you can see it on YouTube here.  You might catch a little sneak peek at a card made with an upcoming stamp set in the September-December 2023 Mini Catalog early in the video…

My card design was inspired by The Paper Players Challenge PP651.  My card works for all of the boxes except masculine and slimline.

I started by adhering a strip of Masterfully Made DSP to the right side of a Pretty Peacock card base with Stampin’ Seal.  I stamped the greenery images from the Gorgeously Made stamp set in Pretty Peacock ink on a panel of Basic White card stock twice.  Then I added Lost Lagoon ink to the panel with a Blending Brush.

I inked the typewritten image from the Gorgeously Made stamp set in Lost Lagoon ink, stamped it on scrap paper and then stamped it repeatedly across the panel.  I cut another panel of Basic White card stock with the edge die from the Gorgeously Made Dies and then adhered it to the back of the stamped panel with Stampin’ Seal.  I wrapped a strand of Linen Thread around the panel twice and tied a bow and then adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the flower image from the Petal Park stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Basic White card stock twice and then colored the images with Light Berry Burst, Light & Dark Lemon Lolly and the Color Lifter Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I punched the images out with the coordinating Petal Park Builder Punch and then adhered the punched images with Mini Glue Dots to the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Gorgeously Made stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Berry Burst card stock, sprinkled it with white embossing powder from the Basics Embossing Powders and then heat embossed it.  I cut the sentiment out with one of the Gorgeously Made Dies and adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added three Pretty Peacock sequins from the Adhesive-Backed Sequins Trio to finish the card front.

I stamped the greenery image from the Gorgeously Made stamp set in Pretty Peacock ink on a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.

Sales Tax Holidays Coming Soon – Save On Stampin’ Up! Supplies!

Woohoo!  Ten states have upcoming Back-to-School Sales Tax Holidays this year and some Stampin’ Up! items qualify for the tax break in those states!

The states with upcoming tax holidays are:  Florida, Massachusetts, Missouri, New Jersey, New Mexico, Ohio, South Carolina, Texas, and West Virginia.  So if you live in one of those states, take a second to download the spreadsheet below and mark your calendar!
