I used the Stampin’ Up! Very Best Occasions stamp set and a little of the One Horse Open Sleigh DSP from the Online Exclusives to create a quick thank you card to share with you today.  I made this project out on Instagram this morning and you can see it here.

I started by stamping the sentiment from the Very Best Occasions stamp set in Misty Moonlight ink on the front of a Boho Blue card base.  Then I cut panels of Distressed Gold Specialty Paper and Soft Shimmer Specialty Paper with one of the leaf dies from the Aspen Tree Dies.  I adhered one of the gold leaves to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.

I adhered a panel of One Horse Open Sleigh DSP (Online Exclusive item) to a panel of Misty Moonlight card stock with Stampin’ Seal and then to a Boho Blue card stock panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I adhered the layered panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I adhered the two remaining die cut leaves with Stampin’ Seal and Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front and then added two of the Night Of Navy dots from the Ombre Matte Decorative Dots to finish the card front.

I cut panels of Boho Blue, Distressed Gold Specialty and Soft Shimmer Specialty Paper with the Aspen Tree Die and then adhered the die cuts to a panel of Basic White card stock.  I snipped the die cuts even with the edge of the Basic White panel and then adhered it inside the card base to finish the inside of the card.

Sales Tax Holidays Coming Soon – Save On Stampin’ Up! Supplies!

Woohoo!  Ten states have upcoming Back-to-School Sales Tax Holidays this year and some Stampin’ Up! items qualify for the tax break in those states!

The states with upcoming tax holidays are:  Florida, Massachusetts, Missouri, New Jersey, New Mexico, Ohio, South Carolina, Texas, and West Virginia.  So if you live in one of those states, take a second to download the spreadsheet below and mark your calendar!

Here is the list of states having sales tax holidays, what the dates are and what supplies will be tax free during the holiday (click on the image to download a full-size printable page):

Please note that you must place your order with Stampin’ Up! during the tax holiday period in your state in order to receive these items tax-free (which is midnight on the first day to midnight on the last day of the tax holiday).  Also, keep in mind that this is a state sales tax holiday; the state statute may not apply to county, city, and special jurisdiction taxes.
