Stampin’ Up! Winter Owls CAS Christmas Card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

I used the Stampin’ Up! Winter Owls stamp set to create my project for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a sketch challenge this week and this is what I made for it.

Stampin' Up! Winter Owls CAS Christmas Card

Here is the sketch that we’re using today:

I started by adhering a panel of One Horse Open Sleigh 6″ x 6″ DSP (Online Exclusive item) to the front of a Crumb Cake card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I adhered two panels of One Horse Open Sleigh to two panels of Pebbled Path card stock with Stampin’ Seal.

I adhered the layered panels to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.  Then I stamped the sentiment from the Winter Owls stamp set (retiring Jan 4) in Pebbled Path ink on a panel of One Horse Open Sleigh.  I cut the sentiment out with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies.

I adhered a small length of Linen Thread to the back of the sentiment die cut with Mini Glue Dots and then adhered the sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.  I added two Speckled Adhesive-Backed Dots (retiring Jan 3) to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Winter Owls stamp set in Pebbled Path ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then added a strip of One Horse Open Sleigh DSP to finish the inside of the card.
