I got my November Paper Pumpkin Kit from Stampin’ Up! in the mail last week and I immediately knew that I wanted to use the Warm Wishes Cards & Envelopes Add-On to create a big stack of Christmas cards. The kit was originally designed to create 8 holiday treat boxes, but it was super easy to modify and turn into cards!
Check out the cute holiday cards that I was able to create really quickly with this kit and the Warm Wishes Cards & EnvelopesAdd-On! And these are 5″ x 7″ card bases…yay! They’re all preprinted and they’re SO pretty!
The kit included a Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Spot and the exclusive Warm Wishes photopolymer stamp set.
I simply cut the house fronts and backs off the treat boxes in the kit, adhered them with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the Warm Wishes Cards & Envelopes card bases, stamped and adhered the sentiments, added the bow and the cards were done!!
The cute little wreaths were a pre-printed die cut that I adhered with Mini Glue Dots and each of the cards has a coordinating pre-decorated envelope!
The “backs” of the houses that were printed on the treat boxes also made cute cards! So I cut those off the treat boxes and adhered them with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card fronts. The kit only included 10 pre-cut banners so I stamped the sentiments on Basic White card stock and cut them out with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies and one of the Countryside Corners Dies. I tied a bow with the Linen Thread and adhered it with a Mini Glue Dot under the sentiments to finish the remaining cards.
The houses and card bases both have lots of sparkly glitter (hopefully you can see it in the photo), love this kit so much!!
I love it when there are decorations for the inside of the cards too! This card features one of the preprinted stickers from the kit.
And when I ran out of stickers, I simply stamped the cute door image from the Warm Wishes stamp set inside the cards instead!
