Stampin’ Up! Sending Love Mailbox Card With Video Tutorial

I used the sweet Sending Love stamp set bundle from the upcoming Stampin’ Up! January-April 2024 Mini Catalog to create a little mailbox card to share with you today.  I also did a video tutorial for this card and you can see it on YouTube here.

Stampin' Up! Sending Love Mailbox Card

My card design was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches #616.

I started by adhering a panel of Sunny Days DSP (Sale-a-bration item, available Jan 4) to the front of a Pool Party card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I adhered another panel of Sunny Days DSP to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.  I inked a panel of Basic White card stock with Coastal Cabana ink and a Blending Brush and then stamped the little lined heart image from the Sending Love stamp set (available Jan 4) in Pool Party ink over the panel.

I cut panels of Granny Apple Green, Lemon Lime Twist, Crumb Cake, Petal Pink, Pool Party, Poppy Parade and Basic White (apply a small piece of Adhesive Sheets before cutting) card stocks with dies from the Sending Love Dies.  I adhered the die cut shrubs and mailbox post to the Basic White panel with Mini Glue Dots.  Then I adhered the two rows of die cut grass with Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the panel.  I snipped the grass and shrub die cuts even with the edges of the Basic White panel.

I stamped the MAIL sentiment from the Sending Love stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on the Petal Pink mailbox die cut and attached the flag die cut with a white brad from the Round & Square Brads.  I folded the mailbox and adhered it together with Stampin’ Seal.  I adhered the mailbox to the card front with Mini Glue Dots.

I folded the Poppy Parade envelope die cut and adhered it together with Mini Glue Dots.  I adhered the bow to the envelope with the Adhesive Sheets and then tucked the envelope inside the mailbox and adhered it with Mini Glue Dots to the Basic White panel.  I adhered the Basic White panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front and then added five white sequins from the Adhesive-Backed Sequins Trio pack to finish the card front.

I stamped the envelope image from the Sending Love stamp set in Pool Party ink several times across the lower right corner of the Basic White card stock panel to finish the inside of the card.
