Stampin’ Up! Bee My Valentine Card for the Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Welcome back to another Inkin’ Krew blog hop!  Our very talented team is doing a blog hop featuring Stampin’ Up! products.  This month we are all creating projects with a “love” theme and I’m featuring the Bee My Valentine stamp set bundle for my card.

Stampin' Up! Bee My Valentine Card

The theme for my card was inspired by Global Design Project #GDP427.

I started by adhering a panel of Bee Mine DSP to the front of a Sweet Sorbet card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I adhered another panel of Bee Mine DSP to a panel of Basic Black card base with Stampin’ Seal and then to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I cut a panel of Bee Mine DSP with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies and then adhered the die cut banner to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.

I stamped the sentiment from the Bee My Valentine stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Sweet Sorbet card stock, sprinkled it with white embossing powder from the Basics Embossing Powders and then heat embossed it.  I cut the sentiment out with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies and then adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.

I stamped the bee images from the Bee My Valentine stamp set in Daffodil Delight, Tuxedo Black Memento and Petal Pink inks on a panel of Basic White card stock.  I added little dots on the bee cheeks with the Light Sweet Sorbet Stampin’ Blends Marker.  I punched the images out with the coordinating Bee Builder Punch and then adhered the pieces together with Mini Glue Dots.  I adhered the bees to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then added three hearts from the Adhesive-Backed Hearts & Flowers around the sentiment to finish it.
