Stampin’ Up! Bee My Valentine Hello Spring Card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

I used the Stampin’ Up! Bee My Valentine and Excellent Eggs stamp sets to create my project for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a color challenge this week and this is what I made for it.

Stampin' Up! Bee My Valentine Hello Spring Card

Here are the colors that we’re using this week:

I started by adhering a panel of Bee Mine DSP to the front of a Petal Pink card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I adhered another panel of Bee Mine DSP to a panel of Pool Party card stock with Stampin’ Seal and then to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I adhered a length of Sweet Sorbet 1/4″ Bordered Ribbon to the card front in a wide “z” with Stampin’ Seal.  Then I stamped the flower images from the Bee My Valentine photopolymer stamp set in Granny Apple Green, Sweet Sorbet, Petal Pink and Pool Party inks on a panel of Basic White card stock.  Then I stamped the sentiment from the Excellent Eggs stamp set in VersaMark ink, sprinkled it with black embossing powder from the Basics Embossing Powders and then heat embossed it.

I cut around the images with one of the Scalloped Contours Dies and then adhered the die cut to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added two of the Adhesive Backed Hearts & Flowers to finish the card front.

I adhered a strip of Bee Mine DSP to a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.

    • Thanks Sherry! Sorry for my mistake, it’s all fixed now…please just ask if you see an error. It’s never my intention to have something not linked correctly. And if I do make a mistake, thankfully, if you read the blog post and then scroll to the bottom, all of the exact same details are listed for the card stock cuts and instructions as the PDF. So you can always find the information right in the post too. 🙂
