Stampin’ Up! Magnolia Mood Birthday Card

I used the Stampin’ Up! Magnolia Mood stamp set bundle from the Online Exclusives to create a birthday card to share with you today.  I made this card out on my Instagram account this morning and you can find it  here.  The basic design for my card was inspired by a pretty card posted by Yvonne Spikemans-Van Bruggen.

Stampin' Up! Magnolia Mood Birthday Card

I started by stamping the Textured Timber stamp set (Online Exclusive item) in Gray Granite ink twice on a panel of Basic White card stock.  Then I used a Blending Brush to apply Gray Granite in over the stamped images.  I adhered the stamped panel to the front of a Thick Basic White card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the magnolia images from the Magnolia Mood stamp set (Online Exclusive item restocking around March 18) in Gray Granite ink on a panel of Basic White card stock.  I colored the images with Light and Dark Soft Sea Foam and Lemon Lolly Stampin’ Blends Markers and then cut the images out with the Magnolia Mood Dies (Online Exclusive item).  I adhered the die cut images with Mini Glue Dots and Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.

I adhered a small length of Lemon Lolly ribbon from the 3/8″ Sheer Ribbon Combo Pack in a “z” with Stampin’ Seal to the card front.  I stamped the sentiment from the Magnolia Mood stamp set in Gray Granite ink on a panel of Basic White card stock.  I cut the sentiment out with one of the Wonderful Thoughts Dies and then adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.  I added three Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels to finish the card front.
