I used the Stampin’ Up! So Sincere stamp set to create my project for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. We’ve got a color challenge this week and this is what I made for it.
Here are the colors that we’re all using this week:
My card design was inspired by As You See It Challenge 320.
I started by adhering a panel of Nature’s Sweetness Specialty DSP to a panel of Pebbled Path card stock with Stampin’ Seal and then to a Pecan Pie card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Then I cut two other panels of Nature’s Sweetness DSP with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies.
I cut one of the banners in half and then adhered the two pieces with Stampin’ Seal to the card front so that they were about 1/2″ apart. Then I adhered the second die cut banner with Stampin’ Seal over the first one. I cut a panel of Pebbled Path card stock with one of the Everyday Details Dies and then adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped the sentiment from the So Sincere stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Basic White card stock, sprinkled it with gold embossing powder from the Metallics Embossing Powders (retiring April 30) and then heat embossed it. I cut the sentiment out with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies and adhered it with Stampin’ Seal to the card front. I added three gold sequins from the Neutrals Adhesive-Backed Sequins to finish the card front.
I adhered a strip of Nature’s Sweetness DSP to a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
