Stampin’ Up! Filled With Cheer A Warm Hello Card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

I used the Stampin’ Up! Filled With Cheer stamp set to create my project for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a sketch challenge this week and this is what I made for it.

Stampin' Up! Filled With Cheer A Warm Hello Card

Here is the sketch that we’re using this week…you’ll see that I took a few liberties with the sketch:

I started by stamping the snowflake image from the Sparkling Snowflakes photopolymer stamp set in Misty Moonlight ink across the front of the Misty Moonlight card base.  Then I stamped the snowman image from the Filled With Cheer photopolymer stamp set (Online Exclusive item) in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Basic White card stock.  I colored the image with the Light and Dark Granny Apple Green, Poppy Parade, Pumpkin Pie, Crumb Cake, Daffodil Delight and Pool Party Stampin’ Blends Markers.

I used the Color Lifter to lighten the Pool Party ink and then embossed the panel with the Snowflake Sky 3D Embossing Folder.  I adhered the embossed panel to a panel of Poppy Parade card stock with Stampin’ Seal and then to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Filled With Cheer stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Poppy Parade card stock, sprinkled it with white embossing powder from the Basics Wow! Embossing Powder and then heat embossed it.  I cut the sentiment out with one of the Greetings Of The Season Dies (Online Exclusive item), tied a bow with Linen Thread through the die cut tag and then adhered the die cut to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added three Iridescent Adhesive-Backed Discs around the sentiment to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Filled With Cheer stamp set in Poppy Parade ink and the snowflake image in Misty Moonlight ink on a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.

  1. You really did take liberties with the sketch! However, it works. Kinda feel bad for the snowman melting, though he looks pretty ok with it.
Love the snowflake background stamping and embossing.

    • Hahaha! I know, right? The smile on the face of the snowman as he melts is so cute. Thanks Julie! 🙂

  2. So darn cute – my resolve not to buy any more Christmas stamp sets gets weak with snowmen, critters and trees!☃️🎄

  3. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this card Amy!!! I love the way you thought outside the box for the sketch, and it worked perfectly, and you used red, white and blue which makes it even better.

  4. Really like this card…especially today when the heat index here in GA is 100+! Cute, cute card!🤗

  5. That little melty snowman is so stinkin’ cute! And I love the embossed snowflakes!! 🙂
