Stampin’ Up! Decorative Trees Seasons Greetings Card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

I used the Stampin’ Up! Decorative Trees stamp set bundle to create my project for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a theme challenge this week and this is what I made for it.

Stampin' Up! Decorative Trees Seasons Greetings Card

Here is the theme that we’re using this week:

I started by embossing a panel of Crumb Cake card stock with the Snowflake Sky 3D Embossing Folder.  I adhered the embossed panel to the front of a Crumb Cake card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I adhered strips patterned paper from the Take A Bow DSP to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.  I cut panels of Basic White and Crumb Cake card stock with the tag and tag reinforcer dies from the Merriest Trees Dies.  I adhered the die cuts together with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and then pulled a strand of Real Red & White Baker’s Twine through the top of the tag and I tied a bow.

I adhered the tag to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I cut a panel of Garden Green card stock with the solid tree die from the Decorative Trees Dies.  I applied small pieces of Adhesive Sheets to the back of a panel of  Garden Green glimmer paper from the Festive Glimmer Paper and then cut it with the plaid tree die from the Decorative Trees Dies.  I adhered the two die cuts together with the Adhesive Sheets and then adhered the layered tree to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I applied a small piece of Adhesive Sheets to the back of a panel of Real Red glimmer paper from the Festive Glimmer Paper and then cut the panel with the bow die from the Decorative Trees Dies.  I used the Adhesive Sheets to adhere the bow die cuts to the tree on the card front.  Then I stamped the sentiment from the Decorative Trees photopolymer stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Real Red card stock, sprinkled it with white embossing powder from the Basics Wow! Embossing Powder and then heat embossed it.  I cut the sentiment out with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies and adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals and Stampin’ Seal to the card front.  I adhered two Garden Green dots from the Transparent Adhesive-Backed Dots to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Decorative Trees stamp set in Garden Green ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then added a strip of Take A Bow DSP to the panel to finish the card front.
