I used the Stampin’ Up! Jar Of Joy stamp set and the Sweet Jar Builder Punch to create a fun Christmas card to share with you today. I also did a video tutorial showing you how to create this on my YouTube channel here.

I started by adhering a panel of patterned paper from the Nests Of Winter DSP to a panel of Cherry Cobbler card stock with Stampin’ Seal. Then I adhered the layered panel to the front of a Crumb Cake card base with Stampin’ Seal. I stamped the jar, snowman and lid images from the Jar Of Joy photopolymer stamp set (Online Exclusive item) in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Basic White card stock. Then I stamped the rim and scarf image from the Jar Of Joy stamp set in Cherry Cobbler ink on the snowman images.

I colored the snowman noses with Timid Tiger Stampin’ Blends Markers and the lids with Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends Markers. I punched out the images with the Sweet Jar Builder Punch. I stamped the snowflake image from the Jar Of Joy stamp set inside the jars in Pool Party ink and then colored the snow with a Light Pool Party Stampin’ Blends Marker. I lightened the Pool Party Blend coloring with the Color Lifter and then inked the edges of the jars with Pool Party ink and a Small Blending Brush. I adhered two of the jars and lids with Stampin’ Seal and Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the card front and then adhered the third jar and lid with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.

I tied a bow with Real Red & White Baker’s Twine and adhered it to the card front with Mini Glue Dots. Then I stamped the sentiment from the Jar Of Joy stamp set in VersaMark ink on Pool Party card stock, sprinkled it with white embossing powder from the Basics Wow! Embossing Powder and then heat embossed it. I cut the sentiment out with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies and then adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front. I added three Real Red & White Adhesive-Backed Peppermints to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Jar Of Joy stamp set in Cherry Cobbler ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then adhered a strip of Nests Of Winter DSP with Stampin’ Seal to finish the inside of the card.

Tax Free Holidays Coming Soon – Save On Stampin’ Up! Supplies!

Woohoo! Twelve states are having Back-to-School Sales Tax Holidays this year and some Stampin’ Up! items qualify for the tax break in those states!
The states with upcoming tax holidays are: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Massachusetts, Missouri, New Mexico, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and West Virginia. So if you live in one of those states take a second to download the spreadsheet below and mark your calendar!
Here is the list of states having sales tax holidays, what the dates are and what supplies will be tax free during the holiday (click on the image to download a full-size printable page):

Please note that you must place your order with Stampin’ Up! during the tax holiday period in your state in order to receive these items tax-free (which is midnight on the first day to midnight on the last day of the tax holiday). Also, keep in mind that this is a state sales tax holiday; the state statute may not apply to county, city, and special jurisdiction taxes.
For those wondering about Georgia, Illinois, Louisiana, New Jersey, and Wisconsin, those states have suspended the sales tax holiday this year.
