Stampin’ Up! Festive Friends Christmas Card With Video Tutorial

I used the Stampin’ Up! Festive Friends stamp set bundle from the upcoming September 2025 Online Exclusives to create a fun Christmas card to share with you today.  I also did a video tutorial showing you how to create this on my YouTube channel here.

Stampin' Up! Festive Friends Christmas Card

My card design was inspired by TGIF Challenges #TGIFC537.

I started by embossing a panel of Poppy Parade Two-Tone Cardstock with the Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder.  Then I sanded the embossed panel just a bit with a sanding block and I adhered the embossed panel to the front of a Poppy Parade card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I cut a panel of Balmy Blue card stock with the tag die from the Festive Friends stamp set (Online Exclusive item available September 3) and then stamped the snowflake image from the Festive Friends stamp set (Online Exclusive item available September 3) in Balmy Blue ink across the tag.

I cut panels of Poppy Parade, Shaded Spruce and Old Olive card stocks with the tag and tree dies from the Festive Friends Dies.  I adhered the tag topper and three Shaded Spruce tree die cuts to the tag with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and then adhered the tag to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.  I adhered the two Old Olive tree die cuts with Stampin’ Seal and Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.  I stamped the snowman image from the Festive Friends stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then colored it with Light and Dark Balmy Blue, Poppy Parade and Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends Markers.

I cut the snowman out with the coordinating die from the Festive Friends Dies and then adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.  I stamped the sentiment from the Festive Friends stamp set in Poppy Parade ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then cut it out with one of the openings in the More Messages Die (Online Exclusive item).  I adhered the die cut sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front and then added two Real Red and White Adhesive-Backed Peppermints to finish the card front.

I stamped the snow and tree images from the Festive Friends stamp set in Balmy Blue and Shaded Spruce inks on a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.

Tax Free Holidays Coming Soon – Save On Stampin’ Up! Supplies!

Woohoo!  Two states have upcoming Back-to-School Sales Tax Holidays this year and some Stampin’ Up! items qualify for the tax break in those states!

The states with upcoming tax holidays are:  Florida and Ohio.  So if you live in one of those states take a second to download the spreadsheet below and mark your calendar!

Here is the list of states having sales tax holidays, what the dates are and what supplies will be tax free during the holiday (click on the image to download a full-size printable page):

Please note that you must place your order with Stampin’ Up! during the tax holiday period in your state in order to receive these items tax-free (which is midnight on the first day to midnight on the last day of the tax holiday).  Also, keep in mind that this is a state sales tax holiday; the state statute may not apply to county, city, and special jurisdiction taxes.

For those wondering about Georgia, Illinois, Louisiana, New Jersey, and Wisconsin, those states have suspended the sales tax holiday this year.
