I used the Stampin’ Up! Ornamental Christmas stamp set to create a fun Christmas card to share today. I also created one version of this card in a quick video out on YouTube this morning and you can see that video right here.
My card design was inspired by CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge #568.
I started by adhering a panel of patterned paper from the Modern Christmas Specialty DSP (Online Exclusive item) to the front of a Thick Basic White card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Then I adhered a wide strip of the Modern Christmas DSP to the card front with Stampin’ Seal. I cut a circle from the Wood Textured Specialty Paper with the circle die from the Ornamental Christmas Dies (Online Exclusive item). I adhered the circle die cut to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I cut panels of Modern Christmas DSP and Gold Foil Sheets with the ornament dies from the Ornamental Christmas Dies. I adhered the die cut pieces together with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and Mini Glue Dots and then to the card front with Mini Glue Dots.
I stamped the sentiment from the Ornamental Christmas stamp set (Online Exclusive item) in VersaMark ink on a panel of Basic Black card stock, sprinkled it with gold embossing powder from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powder and then heat embossed it. I cut the sentiment out with one of the Textured Notes Dies (Online Exclusive item) and adhered it with Mini Glue Dots and Stampin’ Dimensionals to finish the card front.
I stamped the sentiment and tree images from the Ornamental Christmas stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento and Darling Duckling inks on a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
