Stampin’ Up! Festive Friends Merry & Bright Christmas Card

I used the Stampin’ Up! Festive Friends stamp set bundle to create a fun Christmas card to share today.  I also created this card in a quick video out on YouTube this morning and you can see that video right here.

Stampin' Up! Festive Friends Merry & Bright Christmas Card

The colors for my card were inspired by CAS Colours & Sketches #569.

I started by inking the snowflake image from the Festive Friends stamp set (Online Exclusive item) in Secret Sea ink and then stamping it on scrap paper twice before stamping it on the Thick Basic White card front.  I cut a panel of Mossy Meadow card stock seven times with the tree die from the Festive Friends Dies (Online Exclusive item) and then adhered the trees across the card front with Stampin’ Seal.

I stamped the elf image from the Festive Friends stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then colored the image with Light and Dark Mossy Meadow, Secret Sea, Pecan Pie and Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I cut the image out with the coordinating Festive Friends Dies and then adhered the die cut to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Sign Design stamp set (Online Exclusive item) in Secret Sea ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then punched the sentiment out with Sign Design Punch (Online Exclusive item).  I adhered the sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front and then added two Low Profile Dots (Online Exclusive item) to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment and tree images from the Festive Friends stamp set in Secret Sea and Mossy Meadow inks on a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.

  1. The little elf is so sweet, Amy, and looks very smart in our colours! Thanks for sharing your creation with us at CC&S this week.
