Stampin’ Up! Merry Christmas CAS Card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

I used the Stampin’ Up! Merry Christmas stamp set to create my project for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a theme challenge this week and this is what I made for it.

Stampin' Up! Merry Christmas CAS Card

Here is the them that we’re all using today:

I started by embossing a panel of Basic Beige card stock with the Traditional Wreath 3D Embossing Folder.  I adhered the embossed panel to the front of a Basic Beige card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I cut a panel of Gold Foil Sheets with the pine bough and pinecone dies from the Branching Out Dies.

I adhered the die cut pine boughs and pinecones to the card front with Mini Glue Dots.  Then I stamped the sentiment from the Merry Christmas stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Basic Beige card stock, sprinkled it with gold embossing powder from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powder and then heat embossed it.

I cut around the sentiment with one of the Textured Notes Dies (Online Exclusive item) and then adhered the die cut sentiment to a panel of Gold Foil Sheets with Stampin’ Seal.  I adhered the layered panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Wishing You Joy stamp set in Early Espresso ink and the branch and pine bough images from the Branching Out stamp set in Darling Duckling ink on a panel of Basic Beige card stock to finish the inside of the card.
