Stampin’ Up! Traditional Labels CAS Christmas Card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

I used the Stampin’ Up! Traditional Labels stamp set to create my project for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a color challenge this week and this is what I made for it.

Stampin' Up! Traditional Labels CAS Christmas Card

Here are the colors that we’re all using this week:

My card design was loosely inspired by Just Add Ink Challenge #773.

I started by adhering a panel of patterned paper from the Traditions Of Christmas Specialty DSP (it’s been restocked!!) to a panel of Real Red card stock with Stampin’ Seal.  Then I adhered the layered panel to a Secret Sea card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I cut another panel of Traditions Of Christmas DSP with one of the Traditional Labels Dies and I adhered the die cut to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.

I adhered a length of Real Red 1/2″ Shiny Ribbon in wide loops to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.  Then I cut panels of Old Olive and Real Red card stocks with the pine bough and berries dies from the Christmas Greenery Dies.  I adhered the die cut pine boughs with Mini Glue Dots and the berries with Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Traditional Labels stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Secret Sea card stock, sprinkled it with gold embossing powder from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powder and then heat embossed it.  I cut the sentiment out with the coordinating Traditional Labels Dies and then adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Words For The Season stamp set in Real Red ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then added a strip of Traditions Of Christmas DSP to finish the inside of the card.
