Stampin’ Up! Pretty Poinsettia Christmas Joy Card for Sunday Stamps

I used the Pretty Poinsettia stamp set bundle from the upcoming Stampin’ Up! July Online Exclusives to create my card for the Sunday Stamps color challenge.

Here are the colors for Sunday Stamps SSC387.  Be sure to stop by the challenge blog to play along too!

I started by embossing a panel of Basic White card stock with the Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder (Online Exclusive item).  I adhered the embossed panel to the front of a Thick Basic White card base with Stampin’ Seal.  I cut panels of Cherry Cobbler, Real Red and Mossy Meadow card stocks with the Pretty Poinsettia Dies (Online Exclusive item available July 1).

I adhered the leaves die cuts with Mini Glue Dots to the card front.  I adhered the die cut flowers together with Mini Glue Dots and then to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I stamped the flower centers from the Pretty Poinsettia stamp set (Online Exclusive item available July 1) in Darling Duckling ink on a panel of Darling Duckling card stock and then cut them out with the coordinating Pretty Poinsettia Dies.  I adhered the die cuts to the flower centers with Mini Glue Dots.  I stamped the greenery images from the Pretty Poinsettia stamp set in Old Olive ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then cut the images with the Pretty Poinsettia Dies.  I adhered the die cuts to the card front with Mini Glue Dots.

I stamped the sentiment from the Pretty Poinsettia stamp set in Mossy Meadow ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then colored the sentiment with Light and Dark Old Olive Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I applied Wink Of Stella to the “joy” sentiment and then cut the image out with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies.  I adhered the die cut to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then added five Dewdrops Embellishments to finish the card front.
