I used the Stampin’ Up! Frosted Pinecones stamp set bundle to create a Christmas card to share with you today. I also did a video tutorial showing you how to create this on my YouTube channel here!
I started by adhering a panel of patterned paper from the Winter Dreams Specialty DSP (Online Exclusive item) to the front of a Secret Sea card base with Stampin’ Seal. Then I adhered a wide strip of Alpine Winter DSP (Online Exclusive item) with Stampin’ Seal to the card front. I cut a panel of Pecan Pie card stock with the two detailed pinecone dies from the Frosted Pinecones Dies and then adhered the die cuts to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.
Then I stamped the pinecone outline image from the Frosted Pinecones stamp set in Early Espresso ink on a panel of Basic White card stock. I used Blending Brushes and Pecan Pie and Peaceful Pine inks to stencil the stamped image with the Frosted Pinecones Decorative Masks. Then I cut the image out with the coordinating die from the Frosted Pinecones Dies and then adhered the die cut to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped the sentiment from the Frosted Pinecones stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Early Espresso card stock, sprinkled it with white embossing powder from the Basics Wow! Embossing Powder and then heat embossed it. I cut the sentiment out with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies and then adhered a bow that I’d tied from Linen Thread to the back of the die cut with Mini Glue Dots. I adhered the sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front and then added three Gold Adhesive-Backed Dots to finish the card front.
I stamped the pinecone and sentiment images from the Frosted Pinecones stamp set in Early Espresso and Secret Sea ink on a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
