I used the Stampin’ Up! Pretty Poinsettia stamp set bundle to create a quick Christmas card to share today. I also did a quick video showing you how to create this on my YouTube channel right here.
My card design was loosely inspired by Freshly Made Sketches #752.
I started by adhering a panel of patterned paper from the A Stitched Season DSP (Online Exclusive item restocking around September 14) to the front of a Peaceful Pine card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Then I stamped the images from the Pretty Poinsettia stamp set (Online Exclusive item) in Real Red, Peaceful Pine and Golden Glow inks on a panel of White Willow card stock.
I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Real Red card stock with Stampin’ Seal and then adhered the layered panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment from the Pretty Poinsettia stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Real Red card stock, sprinkled it with gold embossing powder from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powder and then heat embossed it.
I cut the sentiment out with one of the Spotlight On Nature Dies and then adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered one of the preprinted die cuts from the Creative Celebrations Mix & Match 6″ x 6″ Specialty DSP with Stampin’ Dimensionals and Mini Glue Dots to finish the card front.
I stamped the sentiment and poinsettia images from the Pretty Poinsettia stamp set in Real Red, Peaceful Pine and Golden Glow inks on a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
