Stampin’ Up! Iconic Imagery Christmas Card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

I used the Stampin’ Up! Iconic Imagery stamp set bundle to create my project for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a sketch challenge this week and this is what I made for it.

Stampin' Up! Iconic Imagery Christmas Card

Here is the sketch that we’re all using this week:

I started by adhering a panel patterned paper from the Iconic Celebrations 6″ x 6″ DSP (Online Exclusive item) to a panel of Cherry Cobbler card stock with Stampin’ Seal.  Then I adhered the layered panel to the front of a Mossy Meadow card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the greenery, berries, tree and snowflake images from the Iconic Imagery photopolymer stamp set (Online Exclusive item) in Mossy Meadow, Old Olive (stamped on scrap paper once), Cherry Cobbler (stamped on scrap paper once for the “fill-in” berry image) and Misty Moonlight inks on a panel of Basic White card stock.  I cut the images out with the coordinating Iconic Imagery Dies (Online Exclusive item) and then adhered them with Mini Glue Dots to squares that I’d cut from Basic White card stock with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies.

I adhered the square die cuts to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.  Then I stamped the sentiments from the Iconic Imagery stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Cherry Cobbler card stock, sprinkled them with white embossing powder from the Basics Wow! Embossing Powder and heat embossed it.  I cut the sentiment out with the coordinating sentiment die from the Iconic Imagery Dies and then adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added two Adhesive-Backed Textured Dots to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiments from the Iconic Imagery stamp set in Mossy Meadow and Cherry Cobbler inks on a panel of Basic White card stock and then added a strip of Iconic Celebrations DSP to finish the inside of the card.
