Stampin’ Up! Festive Friends Christmas Card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

I used the Stampin’ Up! Festive Friends stamp set bundle from the upcoming September-December 2025 Mini Catalog to create my project for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a sketch challenge this week and this is what I made for it.

Stampin' Up! Festive Friends Christmas Card

Here is the sketch that we’re all using this week:

I started by adhering a panel of patterned paper from the Traditions Of Christmas DSP (available September 3) to the front of a Cherry Cobbler card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I adhered another wide strip of the Traditions Of Christmas DSP to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.  I cut a panel of Cherry Cobbler card stock with one of the Spotlight On Nature Dies (Online Exclusive item) and panels of Balmy Blue and Basic White card stock with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies.

I stamped the tree image from the Festive Friends stamp set (Online Exclusive item available September 3) in Old Olive ink on the Balmy Blue die cut circle.  Then I stamped the snowflake image from the Festive Friends stamp set in Balmy Blue ink across the circle.  I adhered the Basic White, Balmy Blue and Cherry Cobbler die cut circles together with Stampin’ Seal and then to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I stamped the Santa image from the Festive Friends stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then colored it with Light and Dark Cherry Cobbler and Basic Black Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I colored the Santa face with the Ivory and Dark Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends Markers.

I cut the Santa out with the coordinating Festive Friends Dies (available September 3) and then adhered it to the card front with Mini Glue Dots.  I stamped the sentiment from the Festive Friends stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Cherry Cobbler card stock, sprinkled it with white embossing powder from the Basics Wow! Embossing Powders and then heat embossed it.  I cut the sentiment out with one of the Festive Friends Dies and then adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added three Traditional Sparkling Sequins (available September 3) to finish the card front.
