I used the Stampin’ Up! Frosted Pinecones stamp set and the Elegantly Wrapped Dies to create my project for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. We’ve got a color challenge this week and this is what I made for it.

Here are the colors that we’re all using this week:

I started by adhering two strips of Real Red card stock to a panel of patterned paper from the All Wrapped Up Specialty DSP with Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the layered panel to a panel of Real Red card stock with Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the layered panel to the front of a Misty Moonlight card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I cut another panel of Real Red card stock with the bow dies from the Elegantly Wrapped Dies. I embossed the bow pieces with Impressions Mat and then adhered the bow ends to the card front with Mini Glue Dots and the bow to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment from the Frosted Pinecones stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Basic White card stock, sprinkled it with silver embossing powder from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powders and then heat embossed it.

I cut the sentiment out with one of the Elegantly Wrapped Dies and then stamped the dots image from the Frosted Pinecones stamp set in Cloud Cover ink across the bottom of the die cut image. I adhered the die cut to the card front with Mini Glue Dots and then added two Adhesive-Backed Sparkle Sequins to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Frosted Pinecones stamp set in Real Red ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then adhered a strip of All Wrapped Up DSP to the bottom of the panel with Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Real Red card stock and then to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.
