I used the Stampin’ Up! Dragonfly Dreams and Awesomely Artistic stamp sets to create my card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop today.  We’ve got a sketch challenge this week and this is what I created for it.

Here is the sketch that we’re using this week:

I started by inking the dragonfly image from the Awesomely Artistic stamp set in Smoky Slate ink, stamping it on scrap paper and then stamping it on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I repeated that process across the entire panel and then adhered the stamped panel to a larger panel of Whisper White card stock with SNAIL.

I adhered a panel from the Fabulous Foil Designer Acetate to the larger Whisper White card stock panel with SNAIL (hidden under the Silver Foil band).  I adhered a strip from the Silver Foil Sheets over the seam in the papers with SNAIL and then adhered the layered panel to a Thick Whisper White card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Dragonfly Dreams stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock, sprinkled it with Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.  I cut the sentiment out with a Stitched Shapes Framelits die and adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the dragonfly image from the Dragonfly Dreams stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock, sprinkled it with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.  I cut the image out with the Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits Die and then adhered it to the card front with Glue Dots.  I added a single gold enamel dot from the Metallic Enamel Shapes pack to finish the card front.

I stamped the dragonfly image from the Awesomely Artistic stamp set in Smoky Slate ink across a panel of Whisper White card stock inside the card.
