Stampin’ Up! Way To Goat Birthday Card for the Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Welcome back to another Inkin’ Krew blog hop!  Our very talented team is doing a blog hop featuring Stampin’ Up! products.  This month we are all creating projects with a “celebrate summer” theme and I’m featuring the Way To Goat stamp set for my project.

I started by adhering two panels of Brights 6″ x 6″ DSP and one panel of 2020-2022 In Color 6″ x 6″ DSP to the front of a Mango Melody card base with Stampin’ Seal.  Then I wrapped a strand of Linen Thread around the card front and tied a bow.

I stamped the image from the Way To Goat stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then colored it with Light Smoky Slate, Ivory and Light and Dark Magenta Madness Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I used the Color Lifter to color over the body of the goat to lighten and give the appearance of fur.  I inked the shadow image from the Way To Goat stamp set in Granny Apple Green, stamped it on scrap paper and then stamped it under the goat before cutting around the image with one of the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.  I adhered the die cut to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Way To Goat stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Mango Melody card stock, sprinkled it with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and then heat embossed it.  I cut the sentiment out with one of the Stitched Shapes Dies and then adhered it with Stampin’ Seal and Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.  I adhered three of the small paper flowers from the Boho Indigo Product Medley with Glue Dots to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiments and goat from the Way To Goat stamp set in Mango Melody and Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I colored the goat with Light Smoky Slate and Ivory Stampin’ Blends and then colored over it with the Color Lifter to finish the inside of the card.

    • Thanks Sandi! The goat on the inside looks a little like me after all of this staying at home! 😉
