I’ve been seeing fabulous cards posted all over Pinterest that use the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch from Stampin’ Up! for the closure. They are so easy to make! I found the instructions in this video from Miriam Castanho Bollinger and I used the same measurements and punch techniques to create my card base. And just in case you were wondering, the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch is back in stock at Stampin’ Up! and is shipping out to those of you who’ve got it on backorder. 🙂
My card design was inspired by the Mojo Monday 337 sketch.
Well, so far so good…we’ve still got power and the snow and ice is supposed to be coming to an end this morning! Good news for the Atlanta area, sure hope that all of my other friends in the southeast are seeing the end to this yucky weather soon too!
I used the Petal Parade stamp set that is a Sale-a-bration exclusive item from Stampin’ Up! to create my card today. My card design was inspired by Retrosketches #101 and the colors were inspired by The Paper Players #182.
I used two of the items that will be available for free from Stampin’ Up! during Sale-a-bration to create my card today. Sale-a-bration starts on Jan 28, this is a fabulous time of year when Stampin’ Up! lets you pick a free item for every $50 in merchandise that you purchase!
Just in case you were wondering, the merchandise shown on the first 9 pages of the Sale-a-bration Brochure is just to provide you with examples of how you can reach a $50 order and what you can create with the items in the bundle. You aren’t required to purchase those items to be able to pick the free products. The $50 merchandise total can be anything that is currently available in either of the catalogs or in the online store. Let me know if you have any questions about that. And let me know if you need a Sale-a-bration brochure or either of the current catalogs. I’m happy to send them to you!
I’m sharing a card that I made with the Petal Parade stamp set that will be available from Stampin’ Up! during Sale-a-bration in a few weeks. I must admit, when I first saw this stamp set in the flyer I wasn’t all that excited about it. But after I pulled it out and inked it up, I really like it! The images are bold and fun and make a card super quick and easy. 🙂
My card design was inspired by CAS-ual Fridays CFC125 and the color was inspired by Hand Stamped Sentiments #176.
