I made these cards after viewing a tutorial on Split Coast Stampers. They are so simple to make and you can use almost any circle size to make them.
To make these cards you will need:
- Festival of Prints Designer Series Paper Stack
- Crumb Cake Card Stock
- Very Vanilla Card Stock
- Early Espresso Card Stock
- Antique Brads
- 3/8″ Designer Printed Brads
- Lacy Brocade Texture Impressions Embossing Folder
I actually raided my kids play kitchen to find circles that were the right size!
And here are the circles after I traced them and hand cut them with my scissors:
Then I cut the circles in half and folded them according to the tutorial. I added a little tree trunk by cutting 3 small rectangles from Early Espresso Card Stock. Then I cut the Crumb Cake layer and embossed it with the Lacy Brocade Embossing Folder. I adhered the trees to the Crumb Cake layer and added the brads. I adhered the Crumb Cake and trees to a layer of the Festival of Prints Designer Series Paper that I had cut to cover the entire Very Vanilla card base. So simple!
Here are some pictures of the individual cards:
Hope this helps you get a jump start on your holiday cards!
