Today I’m sharing a quick clean and simple card that I made using the Best of Birthdays and Bloomin’ Marvelous stamp sets from Stampin’ Up.  This is a no additional postage required card so you can send it with a single stamp!

Here is the list of products that you will need to create this card:

• Best of Birthdays (only available in clear 132929)
• Bloomin’ Marvelous (Sale-a-bration item 129651 wood, 129654 clear)
• Extra Large Oval Punch (119859)
• Designer Frames Textured Impressions Embossing Folders (123130)
• Sahara Sand Classic Stampin’ Pad (126976)
• Bravo Burgundy Classic Stampin’ Pad (126967)
• Sahara Sand Card Stock (121043)
• Bravo Burgundy Card Stock (105123)
• SNAIL Adhesive (104332)

I started with a Bravo Burgundy card base cut to 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ and scored at 4-1/4″.  Then I cut a panel of Sahara Sand card stock to 4″ x 5-1/4″ and I embossed the center with the oval Designer Frames Embossing Folder.  I randomly stamped the flower image from the Bloomin’ Marvelous stamp set in Bravo Burgundy and Sahara Sand ink on the panel.  To finish the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Best of Birthdays stamp set on Sahara Sand card stock in Bravo Burgundy ink and I punched it out with the Extra Large Oval Punch.  I adhered the oval to the center of the card with SNAIL, then adhered the decorated panel to the card front with SNAIL.

Super quick to put together, which was a good thing for me yesterday.  I woke up with a fever feeling pretty miserable, we’ve had a nasty virus running through the schools here.  Unfortunately my daughter brought it home on Friday and it was my turn yesterday.  I’m feel better today so hopefully I’ll be upright for more of the day than I was yesterday!

Software Update and New Digital Downloads for MDS 2

Stampin’ Up has updated their My Digital Studio 2 (MDS 2) software and they’ve fixed several bugs and added some enhancements.  You can see a list of the fixes and enhancements and download the updates here.
