It’s time to starting thinking about the wearing of the green! Today I’m sharing a couple of St. Patrick’s Day cards that I made with the Lucky Day stamp that is located on page 24 in the Spring Catalog from Stampin’ Up!
Here is a closer photo of the larger card:
Here is the list of products that you’ll need to create this card:
- Lucky Day Stamp (only available in wood mount 129177)
- Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set (115370 wood, 127802 clear)
- Word Window Punch (119857)
- Modern Label Punch (119849)
- Vintage Faceted Designer Buttons (Sale-a-bration item 132201, Annual Catalog item 127555)
- Rhinestone Basic Jewels (119246)
- Whisper White Baker’s Twine (124262)
- Garden Green Classic Stampin’ Pad (126973)
- Crumb Cake Classic Stampin’ Pad (126975)
- Crumb Cake Card Stock (120953)
- Garden Green Card Stock (102584)
- Whisper White Card Stock (100730)
- SNAIL Adhesive (104332)
- Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430)
- Glue Dots (103683)
I started with a Garden Green card base cut to 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ and scored at 4-1/4″. Then I cut a panel of Whisper White card stock to 4″ x 5-1/4″ and I adhered it to the card front with SNAIL. Next, I cut a panel of Crumb Cake card stock to 3-7/8″ x 5-1/8″ and I stamped the image from the Lucky Day stamp set randomly on it in Crumb Cake ink. Then I stamped the clover image 4 times on Whisper White card stock in Garden Green ink and I trimmed each image down to 1-1/4″ x 1-1/4″ and I adhered the images with SNAIL to 1-1/2″ x 1-1/2″ squares that I’d cut from Garden Green card stock. I adhered the layered squares to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Then I stamped the sentiment from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set in Garden Green ink on Whisper White card stock, punched it out with the Word Window Punch, adhered it with SNAIL to a Garden Green Modern Label Punch and adhered the layered sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. To finish the card, I tied a piece of Whisper White Baker’s Twine through a Vintage Faceted Designer Button and adhered it to the sentiment with a Glue Dot, then I adhered a rhinestone to the center of each clover.
And here is the smaller card, I also made a little square envelope using Whisper White card stock and the Simply Scored Diagonal Plate (the plate comes with instructions for making envelopes in various sizes!). You can earn the Diagonal Plate free from Stampin’ Up! during Sale-a-bration!
Here is the list of products that you will need to create this card:

- Cloudy Day Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (127022)
- Circles #2 Originals Die (114526)
- 2-3/8″ Scallop Circle Punch (118874)

I started with a Lucky Limeade card base cut to 3-1/4″ x 6-1/2″ and scored at 3-1/4″. Then I cut a panel of Sunshine & Sprinkles DSP to 3″ x 1-5/8″ and a panel of Whisper White card stock to 3″ x 1-5/8″. I embossed the Whisper White card stock with the Cloudy Day Embossing Folder and I adhered the two panels together with SNAIL. Then I wrapped a layer of 3/8″ Ruffled Ribbon and a layer of 1/4″ Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon around the seam, adhered both layers of ribbon with SNAIL and adhered the panel to the card front with SNAIL. Next, I cut a 2″ circle using the Circles #2 Originals die from Whisper White card stock. I stamped the image from the Lucky Day stamp on the circle in Lucky Limeade ink and I adhered the stamped image to a 2-3/8″ Scallop Circle Punch from Lucky Limeade card stock. To finish the card, I adhered the layered circles to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and I adhered a rhinestone to the center of the clover.
Teeny Tiny Wishes is one of my favorite sentiment stamp sets. It’s got a sentiment for every occasion and I love that they all fit into the Word Window Punch perfectly. I also love that the Modern Label punch layers perfectly with the Window Word Punch. It’s so easy to create something fantastic!
