I’m sharing a card that I made with the Very Vintage Jumbo Wheel from Stampin’ Up!  The card is an odd size so I made an envelope with the Envelope Punch Board that fits it perfectly.  The punch board is a fantastic tool and it’s really simple to use.  Just line it up, punch, score, turn and repeat!

I started by stamping the sentiment from the Loving Thoughts stamp set in Soft Suede ink on a Pink Pirouette panel.  I sponged the edges of the panel with Soft Suede ink, then used the Simply Scored Diagonal Plate and I scored the panel every 1″, turned it and scored it again every 1″ to create the diamond pattern.  I adhered the scored panel to a Soft Suede card base.

Next, I stamped the Very Vintage image on a Pink Pirouette panel, sponged the edges, adhered it to a Soft Suede panel then to the card front with SNAIL.  I added three pearls to the lower right corner of the stamped panel.

I stamped two of the butterflies from the Papillon Potpourri stamp set in Soft Suede ink on a Pink Pirouette panel.  I punched the butterflies out with the Bitty Butterfly Punch, sponged the edges with Soft Suede Ink, adhered them to a Bitty Butterfly Punch from Soft Suede card stock with SNAIL, then adhered them to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added three pearls to the center of each butterfly to finish the card front.

I sponged a Pink Pirouette the edges of a panel with Soft Suede ink and I stamped two butterflies in Soft Suede ink on the panel to complete the inside of the card.

Then I pulled out my Envelope Punch Board and started working on my envelope.  My finished card is 2-3/4″ x 7-1/4″ so I knew that I’d never find an envelope in that size.  But, to my surprise, the Envelope Punch Board had measurements and instructions for making the 3″ x 7-1/4″ envelope!

I created the envelope according to the instructions and added a little Pink Pirouette 3/8″ Taffeta Ribbon and an Antique Brad using SNAIL to adhere the ribbon and a Glue Dot to adhere the brad.  If you  are planning to send an envelope made with the Envelope Punch Board for a long, thin card through the mail, just trim off the overhang even with the bottom of the envelope and seal it up.
