Two Quick Joy to the World Holiday Cards – Stampin’ Up!

I’m trying to get my holiday cards finished up this week so when I saw the CAS-ual Fridays #121 Create With 8 Challenge I knew what I was going to do.  I used the Snowflake Soiree and Joy to the World stamp sets from Stampin’ Up! to create two fairly flat, quick to reproduce cards to share with you today.

Snowflake Soiree - Stamp With Amy K

I started by stamping the Snowflake Soiree (wood mount and clear mount) images in VersaMark Ink on a Cherry Cobbler card base and I heat embossed them with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder.  Since this was a “Create With 8” challenge, I made sure that each card had 8 snowflakes on it.

Joy to the World 2 - Stamp With Amy K

For the first card, I cut a panel of White Vellum Card Stock and I stamped the sentiment from the Joy to the World stamp set (wood mount and clear mount) in the center in VersaMark ink.  I heat embossed the sentiment with Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Emboss Powder, then adhered the panel to the card front with Glue Dots (one in each corner).  I added a Rhinestone Basic Jewel over each Glue Dot to disguise them a bit.

On my second card, I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment in the center of the Vellum panel with Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Emboss Powder and I added three snowflakes that I embossed with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder.  I adhered the panel with Glue Dots in the corners, then covered them with Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

More Merry Messages - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the sentiment from the More Merry Messages stamp set (wood mount and clear mount) and the snowflake image in Cherry Cobbler ink on a Whisper White panel to complete the inside of the cards.

Two quick holiday cards, each ready in 10 minutes or less!  The complete list of supplies, including card stock cuts, to create the project is at the very bottom of this post.
