I used the new Watercolor Thank You and Park Lane DSP from Stampin’ Up! to create my card for the Try Stampin’ on Tuesday #172 Sketch. This sketch is just perfect to showcase your designer papers, I hope that you’ll play along with us!
I started by adhering a panel of Park Lane DSP to a Blackberry Bliss card stock panel with SNAIL. Then I cut two strips of Park Lane DSP, punched the ends with the Hexagon Punch and adhered them to the card front with SNAIL.
I wrapped two strands of Blackberry Bliss 3/8″ Stitched Satin Ribbon around the panel and adhered them with SNAIL. Then I adhered the layered panel to a Blackberry Bliss card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I inked up the Corner Garden stamp in Blackberry Bliss ink, stamped it twice on scrap paper, then stamped it on a Whisper White panel. After letting the ink dry a few minutes, I colored a few touches of the image with the Medium Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blendabilities Marker.
I stamped the sentiment from the Watercolor Thank You stamp in Blackberry Bliss ink over the Corner Garden image and cut it out with an Ovals Collection Framelits Die. I layered the sentiment over an oval that I’d cut from Blackberry Bliss card stock with the next size up Ovals Collection Framelits Die, then adhered the layered sentiment to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I inked up the Corner Garden image again in Blackberry Bliss ink, stamped it off twice on scrap paper, then stamped it on a Whisper White panel inside the card.
Now that you’ve seen my card, be sure to stop by the Try Stampin’ on Tuesday blog to see what the other Design Team Members have made.

It’s a beautiful card using one of my favorite new colors. The DSP is beautiful and the stamps too. Gee, my wish list is getting longer!
Thanks so much Christina! My wish list is still a mile long and growing too! 🙂
This color looks good enough to eat! Beautiful card, Amy.
Thanks Melanie! I’m loving this color. 🙂
I really love this card Amy, it seems simple but the way you used the colors is fantastic 🙂 You really did a beautiful job of pulling and bringing out the colors you used with this card, great layering!
Thanks so much Jill. I was a quick and easy card, the only experimenting was trying to figure out how many times to staff off the Corner Garden image to get it light enough for the background. 🙂
