Age Awareness Birthday Card – Stampin’ Up!

I’m really liking the Age Awareness Photopolymer stamp set from Stampin’ Up!  There are so many great sentiments, the “Thanks, Facebook” stamp makes me laugh.  🙂  My card design was inspired by the Stamping and Blogging SB60 Sketch.  Be sure to stop by the other design team members blogs (linked below) see their fabulous creations!

Age Awareness 1- Stamp With Amy K

I started by adhering a panel of Gold Soiree DSP to a panel of Garden Green card stock with SNAIL, then to a Crisp Cantaloupe card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I cut a banner from another piece of Gold Soiree DSP, using the Hexagon Punch to create the banner end and I adhered it to the card front with SNAIL.  Then I cut a panel of Gold Foil Sheets with the Striped Scallop Thinlits Die and I adhered it to a panel of Garden Green card stock with just a touch of Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

***One Tip For Using the Striped Scallop Thinlits Die:  Be sure to place a sheet of wax paper between your die and card stock when you use this die.  It makes removing the die cut super easy!

Age Awareness 3 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the sentiment from the Age Awareness stamp set in VersaMark Ink on a Pistachio Pudding panel, sprinkled it with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.  I cut the sentiment out with an Ovals Collection Framelits Die and I adhered the die cut oval to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Age Awareness 2 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the flowers from the Petite Petals stamp set in VersaMark Ink on a Crisp Cantaloupe panel, sprinkled them with Calypso Coral Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed them.  I punched the images out with the matching Petite Petals Punch, then punched leaves from Garden Green card stock with the Bird Builder Punch, adhered them to the flowers with Multipurpose Liquid Glue, then adhered the flowers to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I added a Pearl Basic Jewel to the center of each flower to complete the card front.

I added a few more flower and leaf punches to a Whisper White panel, using Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere them, to complete the inside of the card.
