For All Things Sneak Peek – Stampin Up!

My great big box of new goodies that I ordered from the 2014 Holiday Catalog arrived from Stampin’ Up! yesterday.  Yippee!!  The first thing that I pulled out to play with is the For All Things stamp set.  You’re also getting a little peek at the new Color Me Autumn DSP and the Autumn Wooden Embellishments.  🙂

For All Things - Stamp With Amy K

My card design was inspired by the Mojo Monday 357 sketch.

I started by adhering two panels of the Color Me Autumn DSP (available Aug 28) to a Soft Suede card base with SNAIL.  The I cut a narrow panel of the Color Me Autumn DSP, punched the top corners with the Project Life Corner Punch and I adhered it with SNAIL to the card front.

I inked up the watercolor look background image from the For All Things stamp set (available Aug 28) in Soft Suede ink, stamped it off on scrap paper once, then stamped it on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I colored the image of the branches from the For All Things stamp set with my Mossy Meadow and Cajun Craze Stampin’ Write Markers and I stamped it over the Soft Suede image.  I punched the corners with the Project Life Corner Punch, then adhered the panel with SNAIL to the card front.

I pulled the stitching and a few thread out of a 4″ length of 1-1/4″ Burlap Ribbon and I adhered it to the card front with Fast Fuse Adhesive (see the how to apply Fast Fuse video here).  I inked up the watercolor look banner image from the For All Things stamp set in Soft Suede, stamped it off once, then stamped it on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I colored the sentiment from For All Things stamp set with my Mossy Meadow and Cajun Craze Stampin’ Write Markers and stamped it over the banner image.  I punched the end of the sentiment panel with the Hexagon Punch, then adhered it with Fast Fuse adhesive to the Burlap Ribbon.

I inked up the larger watercolor image in Cajun Craze ink, stamped it off once, then stamped it on one of the Autumn Wooden Embellishments (available Aug 28).  I adhered the little leaf to the card front with a Glue Dot, then pulled the Old Olive threads from the Natural & Old Olive Two-Tone Trim (available Aug 28), tied them in a bow and adhered it to the embellishment with a rolled up Glue Dot.

I repeated the process for the stamped image from the front panel on a Whisper White panel inside the card.

  1. What a gorgeous card Amy 🙂 The colors are so rich with beautiful dsp. All your fantastic details add up to a wonderfully made autumn card. 😉 I have a feeling that your “Holiday Catalog Haul” is going to strain my budget even more, lol!

  2. Love that burlap ribbon! I am hoarding mine, I need to use it more, it just takes a little to make a great impact… Love this card!

  3. I love everything about this card, Amy. When I first saw the wooden leaves in the catty, I wondered how I would be able to use them creatively. Leave it to Amy The Enabler to show me!
