Stampin’ Up! White Christmas…in Blues!

I used the White Christmas stamp set and some of the All Is Calm Specialty DSP from Stampin’ Up! to create my card to share today.

White Christmas - Stamp With Amy K

My card design was inspired by Fab Friday 55.

I started by stamping the images from the White Christmas photopolymer stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a panel of Pool Party card stock (including the little snowman image.  I colored the trees with the Light Crumb Cake Blendabilities Marker and the little banner with my Tempting Turquoise Stampin’ Write Marker.

White Christmas 2 - Stamp With Amy K

Then I stamped the snow image from the White Christmas stamp set in Whisper White Stampin’ Craft ink over the background and used my Heat Tool to dry the ink quickly.  Then I used my White Stampin’ Chalk Marker to add a little white ink under the trees and snowman.  I stamped the snowman image from the White Christmas stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a Whisper White panel and I colored it with my Tempting Turquoise, Smoky Slate and Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Write Markers, then snipped it out and adhered it over the snowman image that I’d stamped on the card.

White Christmas 3 - Stamp With Amy K

I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Tempting Turquoise card stock with SNAIL, then wrapped a strand of Smoky Slate 1/8″ Taffeta Ribbon around it also adhering it with SNAIL.  I adhered the layered panel to a panel of All Is Calm Speciality DSP, then to a panel of Whisper White with SNAIL and finally to a Tempting Turquoise card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

White Christmas 1 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the sentiment in Tempting Turquoise ink on a Whisper White panel and I cut it out with the banner die from the Snowflake Card Thinlits die set and I adhered it with SNAIL to a banner that I’d cut from Tempting Turquoise card stock with the banner from the Circle Card Thinlits die set.  I adhered the layered sentiment to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals to finish it.

White Christmas 4 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the sentiment from the White Christmas stamp set in Tempting Turquoise ink on a Whisper White panel, then adhered a strip of All Is Calm DSP to finish the inside of the card.

  1. What a totally AWESOME card! I hope you love how it turned out because I think it is one of the best I have seen this year–seriously THE BEST. Thanks for playing in our color challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments. Smiles, Elizabeth

  2. Another clever interpretation of the challenge sketch – and so cheerful! I need to learn to step outside of the box like you do.

  3. I can’t get enough of this sweet little snowman! Love how you paper pieced him and kept the rest of the the scene blue so he stands out. Thanks for sharing at Fab Friday!

  4. This is just the most LOVELY little scene! It looks so cool and icy, and festive, and cute…..I could go on and on 😀 You always put so much effort into your cards, every single one is beautiful, and this one is no exception. Thanks for joining in at HSS, Amy! ~ Erika

  5. What a fun way to pair the two challenges! I love that cute little snowman! Thanks for playing along with us at HSS!
