I needed to get a few holiday gifts wrapped up and shipped out so I pulled out the Stampin’ Up! Gift Box Punch Board again and went to work!
I love this little tool! It’s so easy to use and the Under the Tree Specialty DSP makes fantastic boxes. Each box and tag only took about 10 minutes to assemble.
I needed 4″ x 4″ x 1-3/4″ boxes for my gifts so I cut the Under the Tree Specialty DSP to the size specified on the board and simply followed the Gift Box Punch Board instructions to complete the boxes. Then I wrapped a strand of the Cherry Cobbler 1″ Sheer Linen Ribbon around each box and tied a bow.
For the tags, I punched the top of a 2″ strip of Under the Tree DSP with the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch. Then I used the Tree Punch to punch another panel of Under the Tree DSP. I centered my 2-1/2″ Circle Punch around the tree punch, then punched again. I adhered the circle punch to the tag with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped the sentiment from the Cheerful Tags photopolymer stamp set in Cherry Cobbler ink on a strip of Under the Tree DSP, punched the end with the Hexagon Punch, then slid part of the sentiment strip under the tree punch, adhering it to the tag with Glue Dots. I finished the boxes by tying the tags to the Cherry Cobbler ribbon with Cherry Cobbler Baker’s Twine.
I was able to get 6 gifts all wrapped with tags on them in under an hour. So easy and fun too!!

Built for Free Using: My Stampin Blog
Your packages look Amazing, Amy! So pretty using the dp and oh so festive! I Love my new punch board, used it the first day I received it by making several of the smallest boxes tucking some Ghirardelli Chocolates inside! These will be for each guest at the Christmas dinner table! I attached a ribbon with bow. I also Love that scalloped tag topper punch…..I need that to go on my wish list! You are such an enabler. ; ) ~Hugs
Thanks so much Roberta! I’m glad that you like your Gift Box Punch Board, I’ve been using mine a ton lately. And the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch is a definite “must” have item! 😉
Because I’m sending gift cards/checks for Christmas, I’m not needing boxes but I am using your tag idea on the outside of the gift card “wallets” that I made. I love items wrapped in kraft paper so I think these boxes and tags are very, very nice!
Thanks Melanie! I’m loving the Kraft paper too, I can’t seem to stop using it!! 🙂
